DEPARTURE

Departure, something I never knew
Held no meaning whatsoever
A distant dream
That you had eclipsed

I never knew you a single bit
But you dawned on me when I was weak
Not weak from your selfish hands
Weak from the thought of the one you took from my sight

Oh! You think you won?
The feeling you brought to me is a bad dream
Today I live for the one you took from me, lives win me
You won the fight
Now it’s my turn to rise and conquer you
I’ve won the war, I believe

I STILL WAIT

As days go by I sit
And wonder when the wait
Will be over to behold your sight

To God above I give thanks
In my heart is you I hold
And forever I’ll live my life for you

Days come, days go
And thoughts of you bring you so near
My fears you expel, though I’m anxious

You I need, you I want
My life is nothing without you
My conqueror, I wait

GAMBLING NOT YOUR GAME

This life is a gamble
Though I am not a gambler
I’m ready to live it with you

Believe it, u have my mind
You have me, deep down in your heart
You have my heart and dear,
You definitely have my life

I could gamble with other things
Any other person but not you
All I have, my life glows

How you love feels in
My heart definitely shows in
All I do
I love you!

YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING

Every day I awaken, taken
Taken by your love and humility
The birds are singing it’s time
To set out, out I set with you

Every dream I have revolves around you
Every moment and breath feels of your presence
My every thought, my every desire, my every thought
Everyone has a destiny, but you are mine

Everything we shared, forever is spared
So precious are our days together
Everything I do I reflect on us
Dear, you are my everything

IN MOMENTS LIKE THIS

In moments of ecstasy
I’m never sure but so true
I know I have no one but you

In moments like this
The world may seem small
But I know our world is big to explore

In moments like this
I think of you in special ways;
‘Cos it is you who has enriched my heart

Yes; in moments like this
I know I can sob and cry because
Your love keeps me cool and dry

In moments like this
In such moments, mountains melt down
And the rivers move to the sound of our love.

I am but a prayer away

Every tear, every care, he will bare
Every fear, every snare, he will bare
Every danger, every manger, he will bare
Jesus is but a prayer away.

When you’re in a jungle
With no one to mingle
Always sing a jingle
And you won’t be single
Jesus is but a prayer away

When you’re not amused
When you feel confused
Come get transfused
And definitely be transformed.
Jesus is but a prayer away

Come my son
Come my daughter
Come all and call unto me
For, I am but a prayer way.

He has said he cares,
He has said he will be there
So make sure you prepare
Take care and be square
For he is but a prayer away.

1ST Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxieties on Him for He cares.

it's the little things that matter in life

once upon a time in the land of Israel, a boy was born in the house of Jesse. a little, handsome boy who as he grew up was a herder of the father's cattle. He was called David. ignored by many even of his own family who thought about themselves as great but couldn't master to oppose the gigantic Goliath who David slay with a sling and a pebble of stone. small, little....wasn't he.
many times in life we tend to concentrate on the conspicuous, momentous things but the little things in our lives tell a lot about our greater selves. if one can find the little things that make them happy, sad or just make their lives what they desire then they can easily find the greatness in them. its in those little things that we vary and we find our special selves. the best is always small, concealed to the eye but a potent force to reckon with.
find in you, patience, humility, kindness, mercy, charity, love. they could look innate but can spark the volcano out of you. God bless u.

Let your mind be transformed

During the recent past American election campaigns, one by the name Barrack Husein Obama coined the now famous slogan. "Yes we can".
this was not just an oral assertion but a deep drawn belief in an aspiration whose beginning was clear yet its future unknown but not uncertain.
a lot of battles are won merely by that simple belief, i remember my teacher used this phrase as many times as i fumbled with figures in my child hood days. "it's all in the mind", it's not just about will power but, an informed, transformed mind.
knowledge transforms, educates but nothing ascertains that metamorphosis like having Christ transformed minds.
Romans 12:1-3, unless we are transformed into the mind of Christ we will never do anything special, it will all be mediocrity, mere vain repetitions. one would be likened to an octopus on roller skates, making to much movement but no meaningful advancements or gains.
if you seek to make it then break away from the usual, do that which has never been seen or done. the best way i have chosen for myself is to forever do everything through Christ who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.
Transform your minds and scale the heights like the eagles forget about the grounds for it is the dwelling for the chicken. forget chicken vision and aim for eagle vision.

be devoid of hypocrisy and just be yourself

if you have been in drama then you are a classic example of a clown or at the least to say having bi-polar components. when churchill stars in Churchil live he stands out as a comedian but meet him in real life and you may ask questions. not that he looks different but behaves differently from what everyone expects of him. even better we watch movies where a star act is killed but in real life these guys are so alive and well.
imagine if all comedians could just be themselves? i don't think we would enjoy comedy but we tend to enjoy what's not real. i don't know how to be wilson 1 and later wilson 2. brothers and sisters if you have to do something then do it right and stick to it. partiality is not the way to live, where in my closet or in my house i can do something in confidence then when i go outside i can't dare contemplate the same fete. the bible in 1st Timothy 5:21 relates to this. if i can kill in private then i should do it in public, if i am to drink in private i should do the same thing in public. nothing should be a shaming even at the dawn and rise of the sun. the Pharisees were best known in the bible for their hypocrisy and double faced acts, they would preach water and drink wine. James 3:17 also alludes that we restrain from acts of hypocrisy and partiality. the kingdom of God is about the purity of body, soul and spirit and no partiality will see the gates of heaven. be either hot or cold but not an in-between mediocre, be known for something, stand-out to be counted for something or else risk being spat-out by God. revelation 3:15, know who you are and be proud of it anywhere anytime, just be you
